The Milligan Cup comes home!

A big congratulations to the ‘A’ football team who won the Milligan Cup on Wednesday. They had to beat a number of teams to get to the final and thankfully we scored the second goal in extra time of a closely fought encounter with Harding Memorial.

 

Both the A and B teams played superbly together, each child giving their very best. The keeper in our ‘B’ team won the keeper of the tournament with a number of outstanding saves made.

 

A big thank you to Harding Memorial Integrated Primary School, Lisnasharragh Primary School and St. Bernard’s Primary School for travelling to our school and for taking part in the tournament.


Other football news: well done to the two boys who played a big part in helping their team win the Clonduff 15s league. What amazing football talent we have here in Cregagh PS!
