P5’s Weird Science

P5 are becoming budding scientists this term and have successfully carried out some experiments with mixing an acid (white vinegar) and an alkali (bicarbonate of soda). We threw in a bit of food colouring and seen great results.

P5 also got to explore their sense of taste and discovered different tasting areas of the tongue: bitter, sour, salty and sweet, by tasting different types of food. Let’s just say that Curly Kale wasn’t a class favourite!
