On Safari with P3!
Since the start of term, we have settled into Primary 3 very well. We have created a classroom that is friendly, exciting and fun! We have changed our classroom into a African safari to get into the safari spirit. We, othersiw known as the ‘little Primary 3 explorers’ have enjoyed welcoming guests to our Safari Hotel, where they can have a rest, enjoy a meal or go on a safari tour led by one of our tour guides. Playing with the animals is one of our favourite things to do during Activity Based Learning! We also made animal shelters using junk materials, as well as African houses and jeeps using large lego bricks. Not forgetting how we formed our favourite safari animals out of clay. We have learnt a lot of new and interesting information about safari animals. During Literacy, we wrote sentences about these animals using describing words. Making sure we remember our capital letters and full stops, of course! In Numeracy, we have had fun exploring lots of different areas, such as addition, place value, counting in 2s, 5s and 10s and money - to name just a few! We are looking forward to our ‘Safari Day’ coming up very soon! We hope you enjoy visiting our page and seeing what we have been up to for yourself. Have a lovely day.
Best wishes,
