Measuring with P5

The P5 children have been hard at work carrying out different types of measurement with trundle wheels, measuring tapes and metre rules .  We measured different lengths throughout the school, we measured our heights and the children even measured the perimeter of some of the outside spaces of the school. We recorded our distances in metres and centimetres and used the decimal point when recording some of our measurements. P5 also learnt how to estimate.
