Well done to the children in both teams who participated in the annual Ashfield Boys’ Football Competition. Every child gave their all and thoroughly enjoyed the competition.
The ‘A’ team topped their group with 16 points, with five wins and a draw, conceding no goals. They progressed into the semi finals of the cup and unfortunately conceded one goal in a close game to the eventual winning team.
Coming 3rd out of 28 teams, for a school our size, is pretty impressive!
A very special shout out to one of our children who was selected, out of nearly 200 children, as player of the tournament! WHAT AN AMAZING ACHIEVEMENT!
