Andor Technology Visits P2 & HIU1

This week P2 and HIU1 had a special visitor from Andor Technology. He came and showed us some of the cameras that are built in Belfast for use in telescopes and microscopes. He shared real life applications and told us that the cameras are used by companies like NASA! They are also used to help doctors and scientists find out about medical research and help cure diseases. 

The children got to touch and hold the cameras and asked some great questions. What an interesting day!
